The energy rating represents the most important section in the Sustainable Building Standard SI-5281 (37%) and the International LEED Standard (32%).

The estimated annual energy consumption (of the proposed design) and the based case or reference according to ASHRAE 90.1 Appendix G for LEED Standard and according to SI-5282 for the Sustainable Building Standard SI-5281.
The estimated annual energy consumption is calculated hourly for each predefined zone of the building. Compared to the LEED, the Sustainable Building Standard SI-5282 emphasizes the importance of building’s geometry, orientation, fabric and glazing.
