Energy Modeling

Energy modeling is used to evaluate and optimize the estimated annual energy consumption. Utilizing Energy modeling at an early stage of the conceptual design allows for a well thought out strategic investment in critical details (such as insulation, glazing, etc.), while ensuring the design elements are optimized at crucial stages.

It is important to keep in mind that opportunities for incorporating sustainable design solutions and technologies are broader and simpler at early conceptual stages and become increasingly costly as the project design and construction process progresses.

At LE Studio, we have the experience and expertise of working with architects, engineers, contractors and developers at every stage of the design.

Performing energy simulations requires a high level of expertise that we have mastered with the aid of software tools such as EnergyPlus, TAS, IES, EQuest or DesignBuilder.
